The International Foundation Year (IFY) programme prepares students for study at undergraduate degree level in NCUK Partner Universities. NCUK Graduate Diploma / Pre Master Programme (PMP)
NCUK Graduate Diploma / Pre Masters Programme (PMP) is a full time programme for students who hold a 3 year or 4 year Diploma from an International University or recognized College. Belfast Metropolitan College is in partnership with the Northern Consortium UK (NCUK, a consortium with over 30 partner universities). It provides a bridge between the education systems of the student's home country and those of the UK and Ireland. It prepares graduate students with the skills required for a masters programme at one of the NCUK Partner Universities. Learn more

English Courses
Belfast Metropolitan College offers a wide range of ESOL Intensive English courses (full time) at different levels to International students. For Tier 4 Student Visa, the minimum English level entry requirement is CEFR B1 (about IELTS 4.5). For Students Visitor visa route or EU students,
students can begin from Basic level. The college also runs IELTS classes (Part time)
Students can join in September, January, June, July. Each course runs for 15 to 18 weeks including an induction.

On successful completion you may progress to a variety of degree courses or directly into employment.
