Titanic Quarter Campus – New Build Project

This exciting project is planned to open in August 2011, when Belfast Metropolitan College will relocate from two of the College’s existing buildings, namely Brunswick Street and College Square East, into the new Titanic Quarter building.

The new building will be located within close proximity to the Odyssey complex and will have capacity for 2,500 full-time students. This will complement the College’s other main city centre provision located at Millfield. This landmark building will feature the latest facilities including a wide range of courses on subjects including hospitality and catering, business and management, A Levels and GCSEs, professional training and counselling, ICT, performing arts, craft and design, science, access to university, sport and leisure, media and multimedia.

The four-storey building, rising to five storeys at the front, will offer 21,000 square metres of space centred round a large courtyard.

In 2011, the new College will be a modern facility which will be adapted in response to changes in demand and will maximise the use of Information Technology to support all learning.

Belfast Met is working in partnership with Ivywood Colleges Ltd. which is a consortium comprising Titanic Quarter Ltd., Patton Construction, Ulster Bank, Amey and Todd Architects.
