Invest NI Futures Programme

The College recently provided training support to the Invest NI ‘Futures’ initiative. The programme, supported by the Department for Employment and Learning, was designed to develop graduate expertise in the work associated with the fund administration sector.

To date more than 30 graduates have completed training and concentrated their studies on the Investment Administration Qualification. They also benefited from a series of workshops aimed at developing their personal effectiveness, teamwork and interview skills. These sessions aimed to ensure the students made an immediate impact on their future placement company.

The participating graduates are now engaged in 9 – 12 month placements with major Financial Services employers based in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

College staff from departments including Business and Management, Creative and Health, Continuing Education and Hospitality made significant contributions to the success of this programme.
