Innovative Creative Campus planned for Belast
Belfast Metropolitan College is planning to establish a new £13.5 million “employability centre” next to the Millenium Community Outreach Centre.

This exciting new campus will complement the existing facilities at BMC by providing an innovative learning space which will more closely resemble a modern 21st century workspace than a traditional classroom environment. The College will re-engineer the delivery of higher educational curricula to involve all students in industry led projects.

-
Learners will provide innovative solutions to practical and technical projects devised and driven by business and will have access to industry standard equipment and facilities. The new building will be 4500 square metres and it is anticipated that the new campus will be completed by early 2010.
