Future Skills for the Belfast Economy
A key 'driver' for the 'FE Means Business' strategy has been the development of six local Workforce Development Forums based on the geographical areas of the FE College network. Our College acts as the secretariat to the Belfast Forum. This group, that has membership from sectors including Finance, Retail, Hospitality, Construction, Engineering, Health and ICT, has met on a regular basis since the beginning of 2007.

It is expected that the Forum will identify existing and future skill shortages, and will make proposals to ensure that the future skills base of the Belfast economy makes it a place where more investors 'want to do business.'
