All vacant posts are publicly advertised in the local press, normally the Tuesday issue of the Belfast Telegraph.  In addition details of vacancies are placed on our website at the same time. Anyone interested in applying for an advertised post with the Belfast Metropolitan College may do so by applying online or completing an application form which may be obtained from the Department of Human Resource Development. The College does not accept casual applications as a result of its commitment to equality of opportunity and the relevant legislation in this area.

Temporary part-time lecturer vacancies are filled in the first instance from a register which the College holds.  The register is advertised on an annual basis, normally at the end of March/beginning of April.

If you are interested in obtaining employment in the College you are advised to consult the local press and/or the College’s website at regular intervals.  There is the facility to subscribe to the website so that you will be notified by email of all posts that are advertised.

The College is registered with AccessNI for the purpose of requesting Enhanced Criminal History Disclosure checks in respect of employees of the College as part of the recruitment process.
